Block "Lead Me Not To Penn Station" (Burning Bush) BLOCK has a new release "Lead Me Not Into Penn Station" and it rocks. Sort of a 90‚s minimalist rock outfit who take want they learned from their influences and build on it creating a sound that is immediately likeable. As the title implies the lyrics are drenched in wit but not so much that it gets annoying, these guys are tight. The tracks show an amazing amount of diversity with faster dancing tracks like "Future‚s Coming On Too Fast" and "Rhinoceros", giving way to tracks that are slower but still as strong in a different vein. It‚s a sound that if commercial radio had a mind of it‚s own and not the MTV collective conscious they would be all over this. Fans of bands from Golden Smog, Jay Hawks, to even Nick Drake should check this out. You won't regret it.
